The major categories under which antistatic agents can be classified are as follows: Antistatic Agents are mainly used for the purpose of protecting thread from abrasion, crushing, and other harmful effects due to the soil, water, and heat. The antiseptic properties of these agents come through their chemical structure, color, aromatic and fragrance properties.
